چکیده

Novel Au nano-particle catalysts immobilized on both titanium(IV)- and alkylthiol-functionalized SBA-15 type ordered mesoporous silicate supports were developed. The bi-functionalized support could be synthesized by a one-pot method. To the supports, was reaction of alkylthiol groups with AuCl4−, following reduction NaBH4. amount formed structures electronic property species depended loading alkylthiol. moderate size (2–3 nm) nano particulate sites Ti(0.5)-SBASH(0.5) negatively charged. aerobic alcohol oxidation activity structure nano-particles. non-thiol-functionalized catalyst (Au/Ti(0.5)-SBASH(0)) composed large (5–30 higher thiol-loaded (Au/Ti(0.5)-SBASH(8)) small cationic almost inactive. most active Au/Ti(0.5)-SBASH(0.5) electron-rich nano-particles electron donation from highly dispersed thiol groups. Styrene in presence 1-phenylethanol O2 loadings titanium(IV) Au/Ti(x)-SBASH(0.5). trapped H2O2 generated through reaction, also contributed to alkene activating H2O2.

Hoveyda–Grubbs type metathesis catalyst immobilized on mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 and SBA-15

A commercially available Hoveyda-Grubbs type catalyst (RC303 Zhannan Pharma) was immobilized on mesoporous molecular sieves MCM-41 and on SBA-15 by direct interaction with the sieve wall surface. The immobilized catalysts exhibited high activity and nearly 100% selectivity in several types of alkene metathesis reactions. Ru leaching was found to depend on the substrate and solvent used (the low...

Amino-functionalized SBA-15 type mesoporous silica having nanostructured hexagonal platelet morphology.

Amino-functionalized SBA-15 type mesoporous silicas having unique hexagonal platelet morphologies with short channels (100-300 nm) running parallel to the thickness of the nanostructured hexagonal platelet type morphologies have been directly synthesized by co-condensation of aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and sodium metasilicate as a silica source in the presence of Pluronic P123 triblock ...

Formation of cyanide-functionalized SBA-15 and its transformation to carboxylate-functionalized SBA-15

Cyanide-functionalized mesoporous silica SBA-15 (CN/SBA-15) with pore diameters larger than 6 nm has been prepared by a one-pot synthesis. The structure of CN/SBA-15 is affected by the amount of the functional silane 2-cyanoethyltriethoxysilane (CTES) and the conditions of co-condensation in the acidic aqueous solution of the triblock copolymer Pluronic P123: whereas direct mixing of the silica...

Synthesis and Surface Modification of Mesoporous Silicate SBA-15 for the Adsorption of Metal Ions

In this study surface modified SBA-15, coated with octadecyltrichlorosilane (C18), is considered as an alternative adsorbent for metal ions in water. The SBA-C18 was loaded with Bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl) phosphinic acid (cyanex 272) as the metal ion extractant. The adsorption characteristics of phosphinic acid loaded SBA-C18 were evaluated for Cu(II) and Zn(II) ions in aqueous solution. Adsorp...
